The aim of the track training session is to enhance running technique and speed for 5K and 10K runners. It will mostly be short interval sessions varying between fartlek style runs and more flat out sessions.
When: Monday, 6:30 PM (7:00 pm during Ramadan)
Where: Dubai Sports City Track (next to Fit Republik)
Who: DRR members and interested non-members
What: Speed intervals on a 400m track
Currently we must pay individual entrance fees to use the track. It’s 35 AED/day, or 100 AED/month. Longer-term memberships are available. The plan is to continue through the summer and potentially get a group rate in the fall, depending on interest.
